We should focus more on development and player development than about wins. Development of the league. Grow it. Expand it. Make the league well known. We should be able to have multiple teams like Manteca and other cities.

My name is Nicholas Avignone, and I am excited for the opportunity to serve on the Little League Board. As both a parent and someone who truly cares about youth baseball and softball, I understand the important role this league plays in developing not only athletes, but also confidence, teamwork, discipline, and character in our kids.

I would like to volunteer as Registrar with Lathrop Little League because I enjoy supporting youth sports and helping create a positive experience for players and families. I am organized, dependable, and comfortable managing registrations. I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to the league and support our community.

I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue serving on the Lathrop Little League Board of Directors for another year. I am committed to supporting our players, families, coaches, and volunteers while helping the league continue to grow and succeed. Being part of creating a fun, positive, and memorable experience for our community is something I truly value, and I look forward to continuing that work.

I have proudly served on the Lathrop Little League Board of Directors for the past four years as the Umpire-in-Chief (UIC), and I am seeking a fifth year to continue helping our league grow and succeed. I was one of the original board members who helped bring Little League back to Lathrop, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch the league continue to expand each season. During my time on the board, I have worked to strengthen our umpire program through training, mentorship, scheduling, and recruitment, while also helping improve league operations both on and off the field. I take pride in promoting fair play, supporting our volunteers, and helping create a positive experience for players and families throughout the community. As our league continues to grow, I remain committed to helping build a strong foundation for the future of Lathrop Little League and ensuring that our players have the best experience possible.

I’m excited to continue serving on the Little League board and building on the success we’ve achieved over the past few years. My experience and commitment have helped keep our league organized, growing, and focused on providing a positive experience for our players and families.

I enjoyed serving on the board this past season as Field Coordinator and making sure our fields were always ready for game day. I’d love the opportunity to continue serving on the board and help make another successful season for our league.

As volunteer coordinator, I will do my best to work closely with coaches, team parents, league leadership, and the concession manager to create schedules, provide reminders, and encourage participation from every team to get involved and support the league. My goal is to help build a stronger sense of teamwork throughout the league while creating a more successful and consistent snack shack experience for everyone.

I have a background in leadership. I lead a team of 68 and feel that I can bring value to any position on the board. I believe in this league and the growth it offered to my kids so to have any part in its success id be honored

I care about giving kids a positive experience and helping the league continue to grow. Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about what works well and where we can improve. I want to help build a stronger program, support coaches and families, and create an environment where kids can have fun, develop confidence, and enjoy the game.

Dear Lathrop Little League Families, My name is Richard Huerta and I am running for the Little League Board of Directors. As a parent and a lifelong fan of the game, I know that baseball is about more than just what happens on the field—it’s about building community, character, and great memories for our kids. I’m running because I want to give back to the league that gives so much to our families. If elected, I will bring strong organization, clear communication, and a focus on keeping our fields safe, fair, and fun for players of all ages. I’d be honored to earn your vote and help out this season.

I’m looking forward to being on the Board for Lathrop Little League again.. This last Season was a ton of fun mixed with a lot of long hours and hard work. Last season was also my first year as President of the league. I know that there is a lot more work ahead, but you can’t fix it from the bleachers. Thank you all for a wonderful season. My name is Jazmin, my husband and I recently moved to Lathrop and we have 2 kids boy 4 and girl 6 who are ball players. My husband has coached our daughter the last two seasons and will continue to coach both throughout their levels. I’ve coached high school softball and youth, including helping start a Rugby organization in the Bay Area. Looking forward to the opportunity to join the board and help grow the love of sports, team work and community.

Im running for Little League president because I believe every child, parent, coach, and volunteer deserves to feel equally supported, respected and heard. My goal is to help create a culture built on fairness, transparency, teamwork, and accountability where decisions are made in the best interest of the players and the league as a whole, not based on personal relationships or favoritism. Little League should be about developing kids, building community, and creating a positive experience for everyone involved.

I’d like to join the board to bring both a coach’s and parent’s perspective to the table. It’s important that any rules and regulations put in place are fair, balanced, and made with everyone in mind. Coaches volunteer their time and energy, and parents sign their kids up expecting a positive, fair, and fun experience. I believe we may be starting to move away from that, and I’d like to help ensure we stay focused on what’s best for the players, families, and volunteers who make the program possible.

As a former President, I'm very proud of how far Lathrop Little League has come. I look forward to helping the league continue to grow and improve the Little League experience for everyone.
